About

Meredith Murphy, Founder & Board Certified Coach

Hello! I believe we all have purpose, passion, and drive, and many opportunities to embrace them. I love engaging others, leaning into their strengths, and developing a plan that they can get behind. Sometimes we have a clear picture and plan of how we would like our lives to look and are just unsure of how to take the next steps. Other times we don’t even know where to begin. Sometimes we just need someone alongside us to provide accountability and encouragement.

We’ve all been there. I’d love to help.

My Process

There is no one size fits all. There is no script. What works for one, may not work for all. You bring the expertise of yourself and a willingness to take healthy risks, and I will bring my expertise of the process. You can count on me to be direct and honest, to ask powerful questions that lead to powerful possibilities, and utilize challenging techniques to move you forward. My role is to help you focus on specific areas with measurable outcomes; to help you gain clarity on your life’s goals, determine what strengths and life experiences will fuel your journey, and create a clear path to help you achieve it.

My Merit

As a Board Certified Coach, accredited by the Center for Credentialing & Education, maintaining a high level of professional accountability is essential to my practice. Prior to receiving my board certification in coaching, I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Illinois in 2003, and am a Board Certified Counselor. My knowledge base and expertise creates a practice that is academically sound, utilizes knowledge of human behavior, motivation, and behavioral change, and integrates over 15 years of professional counseling and coaching services. I am skilled in working with adolescents, men, and women in all walks of life and have a special background working with those who have survived domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or childhood trauma. Furthermore, I am passionate about supporting the work of those in the helping profession, from first responders to non-profits, and have broad experience working with those impacted by compassion fatigue and secondary trauma.
